Mirros’s Edge Patch 1.0.1 (19 megs)fixes a potential freezing issue some machines might encounter only when physx is enabled.
Many users reported potential freezing issue on their machines when Physx is enabled. To address that problem EA released MirrorÂ’s Edge
patch 1.01. This MirrorÂ’s Edge update is for all versions of the game including US, UK, German etc except for the Japanese and the
Korean version. For now you can get update for all other versions of the game.
How to install:
1-extract files and you end up with 6.3 GB ISO image
2-mount image on virtual drive or burn to double layer DVD to install
3-after install, apply game patch, then apply game crack

I put the crack in the binaries folder instead of the main folder. It works now. The instructions weren’t clear on where to put it.

Other report the crackfix works when you “turn off” or “Disable” or even “uninstall” the Physx.
Some say running the game as the “Admin” and Physx’s off works too.
If you have an ATI card and can’t run the game because of crash, just uninstall the PhysX pack.
The game will run and ask to install it back. Just answer “No” and you’re ready to go
The fix for the patch now causing it to bomb at launchÂ…. Right click and run as ADMIN! Turn off physx cause the next part when you get in the offices lags really bad with Physx on. Physx is still useless.

and new component features.
Mirror’s Edge runs in full screen mode only. It is not recommended to use Alt+TAB or Alt+Enter
commands in-game, as game functionality may be interrupted.
For online connection, please ensure that Mirror’s Edge can connect to the following ports:
18680, 80, 443.
If the game audio sounds unbalanced, please ensure that any audio enhancements available to your
sound card are disabled.
ATI Catalyst Control Centre users who have deselected the Anti-Aliasing option “Use Application
Settings” should disable Anti-Aliasing in the Mirror’s Edge Video settings.
Vista users with single core processors may experience difficulties running Mirror’s Edge with
User Account Control enabled. To disable this feature, load Control Panel and select User
Accounts. Then select “Turn User Account Control on or off” and uncheck the box. Vista will then
prompt you to restart the system.
Please note when remapping keyboard controls, that not all keys are available for remapping.
Standard keys are supported, but you may experience issues if trying to assign controls to
special characters on the keyboard.
