Superior Ultraman 8 Brothers “Great Decisive Battle! The Super 8 Ultra Brothers”) is the latest Ultraman theatrical feature, and the first movie by director Takeshi Yagi, who has since retired from Tsuburaya Productions as of January 2008. It unites the Shōwa heroes Ultraman, Seven, Jack and Ace together on screen with the Heisei heroes Tiga, Dyna, Gaia and Mebius.

The movie was released theatrically nationwide in Japan on September 13, 2008. As of October 23, 2008, the movie had grossed over ¥800,000,000 (US $8,000,000) at the box office, becoming the most commercially successful movie in the history of the Ultraman franchise
